Songkhla statistics

Figures are the Ministry of Tourism and Sports' January–December province table. The publisher defines visitors (ผู้เยี่ยมเยือน) as people travelling for tourism and other purposes such as visiting friends or relatives, whether or not they stay overnight, and whether they stay in accommodation, with friends or relatives, or elsewhere. Visitors are counted in each province they visit, so the national total is a count of province visits, not of people, and foreign visitors are not comparable with international arrivals. Revenue is the publisher's estimate of visitor spending in million baht. Occupancy is the accommodation occupancy rate in per cent. Each year is taken from the most recent release that reports it after review by the publisher's statistics committee (marked R), where one exists; the release is recorded for every value. The national figures are the publisher's own totals, not sums calculated by ThailandStats.

2020 and 2021 are marked P (preliminary). For those years the publisher counts foreign visitors as foreigners who entered Thailand before the border closure and stayed in the provinces, excluding foreigners working in Thailand.

The publisher's regional subtotals are not ingested: its regional grouping changed during the period and differs from the six-region system used on this site.

Two province names are misspelt in some releases (ประจวบศิรีขันธ์, ศรีษะเกษ) and are matched to Prachuap Khiri Khan and Sisaket.
