By using ThailandStats you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

What the site provides

ThailandStats republishes statistics about Thailand from official and international sources, with charts, tables, context and downloadable data. We work to present every figure accurately and to link it to its original publisher, as described in our methodology.

Using and citing the data

• Cite the original publisher. Every statistic comes from a named source. When you use a figure, credit that publisher and, if you found it here, ThailandStats with a link to the page.
• Original publishers' terms apply. Some sources publish their data under an open licence (for example, World Bank data is licensed under Creative Commons Attribution 4.0). Others do not state reuse terms; each page and dataset shows the licence where one is known. You are responsible for checking that your use complies with the original publisher's terms.
• Our own work. You may quote and share our pages, tables and charts for news reporting, research, teaching and other non-misleading purposes, with a clear credit to ThailandStats and a link to the page. Please do not present our work as your own or republish substantial parts of the site wholesale.

Accuracy

We check the data we publish, label provisional and estimated figures, and correct errors when we find them. Statistics are revised by their publishers, however, and mistakes can happen. The site is provided "as is": we do not guarantee that any figure is complete, current or error-free, and it should not be your only basis for financial, legal, investment or other important decisions. Check the original source for anything that matters.

To the extent the law allows, ThailandStats is not liable for any loss arising from use of the site or its data.

Links to other sites

We link to publishers and other websites so you can check sources. We are not responsible for their content or terms.

Acceptable use

Please do not attempt to disrupt the site, access it in ways that place an unreasonable load on it, or use the contact form to send spam or abusive messages. Automated downloads of our published data files are fine at a reasonable rate.

Independence

ThailandStats is independent. It is not affiliated with, or endorsed by, the Thai government or any of the organisations whose data it republishes.

Changes

We may update these terms. The date above shows when they last changed. Questions can be sent through the contact form.
